Isolation

It was a sad day, the air was moist and grey, an old house lay among the grass
Isolated from others, the house had dull grey walls with paint hanging lifelessly of the sides and a chimney which looked as though it had not been used in years,
There was a river by the house which was grey and polluted, this really was a sad sad place...

Shipwreck

The ship rocked side to side with the wind, jack staggered towards the captain
His hat wet, and his boots soggy and stale.
“Cap!, the ships not gonna make it!” screamed jack over the howling of the storm
“Nonsense my boy!” said the captain back,
But jack was right the ship wasn’t going to make it,
The ship lurched forward tipping all the boxes and crates to the other end of the ship,
It was too much weight, Jack ran down scooping the cargo away
But as he did so a humongous wave clashed with the boat and he was sent
Flying of the ship,
“Help!” he screamed, but no one could hear him over the churning of the rocks against the ship “HELP!” he screamed once more,
The current dragged him beneath the waves,
adrenaline rushed through him, he tried to swim up but couldn’t he looked down
A piece of rope had gotten caught in his leg
He swam down and desperately tried to get it off
He couldn’t hold his breath any longer,
Jack took a breath, his lungs burnt,
He screamed under the water in frustration and pain
His eyes became droopy then he saw the captain in a life raft leaving,
And that was the last thing he ever saw before the slumber took over…
