Moment in time

my heart raced as i planted my foot inside the battlefield, mask on my head gun gripped firmly in my hand,
I ran as the whistle blew, bullets coming from both sides of me "Urk!" i went as a bullet blew against my jacket, i ducked behind a small sheet of metal along with another soldier, "Fire!" he whaled as we shot at the enemy "AH!" he went dropping to the ground, my heart raced as i held down on the trigger, "Ugh!" i fell to the ground aswell, i looked over at my arm a patch of bright red formed around it, i looked over at my wounded team mate, "Hel-lp" he stuttered, i rushed over, "We can do this" i told him firmly then i helped him up and we shot like our lives depended on it, my bloody arm still hurt but i ignored it.
we shot at them they shot at us, i fell to the ground my hand had been shot and my gun had flung out of grip and across the battlefield "ugh" i struggled grabbing the gun but i managed to get it, "Argh!" i shouted shooting at the enemy i shot the soldier who had wounded me through the shoulder, he fell down, just as i shot him the whistle blew once more,
it was over...


(Don't worry it was just paintball no one really got that hurt)
